Gérard (Gerry) LeBlanc, 72, of Elmwood Drive, Moncton, NB, and formerly of Pré-d'en-Haut, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2000 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital (Palliative Care Unit) after a lengthy illness.
Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of the late Désiré LeBlanc and Hermance Gautreau. Gerry worked in the Ottawa and Hull area for a period of 30 years with a construction company, then worked in Moncton for 15 years at the Villa du Repos as a security guard. He attended Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church. Gerry served with the N.B. Rangers during the war and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Gerry will be sadly missed by his special friend, Margarite; four brothers, Laurie (Léontine) LeBlanc of Chateau-Gai, Quebec, Henri (Catherine) LeBlanc of Pré-d'en-Haut, George Yvon (Donalda) LeBlanc of Pré-d'en-Haut, John (Corinne) LeBlanc of College-Bridge; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Rita; two brothers, Henri and Oscar. .
Resting at Dupuis Funeral Home with the Funeral Mass to be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 8, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. with Fathcr Sylvio Doiron officiatihg. Interment in Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Cemetery
